Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These rules keep BusinessPilotOS safe and fair for every business that uses it. They are part of our Terms of Service.

1. Use it for real business

BusinessPilotOS is for running a lawful business: managing customers, quotes, bookings, jobs, invoices, payments and expenses. You are responsible for what you and the people you invite do in your workspace.

2. You must not

  • Break the law, or use the service to commit fraud, issue false invoices or quotes, or hide the proceeds of crime
  • Enter or share data you have no right to use, or content that infringes someone's rights
  • Try to read or change another business's data, bypass role permissions, or test the service's security without our written permission
  • Attack, overload or disrupt the service, scrape it automatically, or reverse engineer it
  • Send spam or malware, or harass, threaten or defame anyone
  • Share your login with people outside your organisation or sell or sub-license access to the service
  • Use the service in a way that breaches the rules of the providers that power it, such as hosting or AI providers

3. Sensitive data

Only enter personal data you need and are allowed to hold. In particular:

  • Do not store full payment card numbers, card security codes or bank passwords. BusinessPilotOS records payments; it does not process cards
  • Do not store government ID numbers, health records or other highly sensitive data unless you have a lawful basis, a real need, and have checked that the service suits your legal obligations. The service has not been assessed against specialised regimes such as healthcare privacy rules

4. Messaging your customers

The product does not send messages to your customers automatically. If you contact customers yourself, you are responsible for following the marketing, consent and anti-spam laws that apply to you.

5. Reporting abuse or a security problem

Email support@businesspilotos.com. For a security problem, please write privately and do not post details publicly. See our Security page for what to include.

6. What happens if the rules are broken

We may warn you, remove content, suspend or close accounts, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, but we may act immediately to protect people or the service.
