What it can and cannot do
It answers from your customers, invoices, jobs and expenses, shows recommendations in an Action Center and never sends a message or changes a record by itself. If a figure cannot be calculated from your records, it says so.
Your data
Your records are not used to train our own models. When the optional Copilot is used, the question and a summary of your records are sent to our AI provider to produce the answer, as described in the Privacy Policy and Subprocessors pages.
Compared with a general chatbot
A general chatbot does not know your business and may state invented figures with confidence. This assistant is limited to your own records, shows its reasoning, says when a figure cannot be calculated and never acts without approval.

Frequently asked questions
Does it need an API key?
The conversational Copilot is optional and is available only when it has been enabled on the service; the recommendation agents work without it. See the Privacy Policy for what is sent when it is used.
Can it change my data?
Only through approved actions, using the normal engines.
Does it train on my data?
BusinessPilotOS does not use your records to build its own models.
