Business software for garages, auto repair and detailing

A repair starts with a booking and an inspection, becomes an estimate the customer must approve, and ends with parts, labour and an invoice. BusinessPilotOS keeps those steps on one job, so the estimate, the work and the bill match.

Estimates that need approval

Send the estimate as an itemised quote, record whether the customer accepted it, and turn the accepted estimate into the job card.

Parts bought for one car

Record each parts invoice against the job it was bought for, so the cost of the repair sits next to what you charge for it.

Bays and technicians

Schedule jobs with a start time and assign a technician, and see the workshop's week in one calendar.

How a job flows through it

  1. 1Book the vehicle in
  2. 2Inspect and send an itemised estimate
  3. 3Create the job card from the accepted estimate and assign a technician
  4. 4Link parts and log labour against the job
  5. 5Invoice the job, record payment and note the next service

Who it suits

Independent garages, auto electricians, body shops, tyre shops and car wash or detailing businesses with a small team.

What to know before you start

There is no vehicle registration lookup, parts catalogue or stock control, and vehicle details are typed into the job rather than kept as a separate vehicle record. Service reminders are tasks your team sends; nothing is sent automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep a vehicle history?

Jobs, estimates and invoices sit on the customer record, so past work is visible per customer. A dedicated vehicle record is not built yet.

Can I call jobs 'job cards'?

Yes. Choose Garage in Business setup, or rename the terms yourself.

Can I see profit on each repair?

Yes, once the job is invoiced and its parts and other costs are linked. Profit is never estimated.
